Terms + Conditions

Some conditions to our work together:

code of ethics

As a psychologist I abide by the Australian Psychological Society (APS) Code of Ethics

The information you provide me is confidential and I will only  disclose confidential information under the following circumstances:  (a)  with your consent  (b) where there is a legal obligation to do so (e.g if requested by a judge as part of a criminal or civil matter).
I have a legal obligation to disclose information if there is an immediate and specified risk of harm to an identifiable person or persons that can be averted only by disclosing information.

working collaboratively

We work together to resolve the issues that bring you to me, and the more open to collaboration one is, the more progress will be made. I am a collaborator, a guide, but can not heal you without you facing what needs to change and taking steps, even very small steps, towards your goals.

cancelation policy

When we make an appointment, I set aside an hour of my time for you, that I can not offer to anyone else. If you need to cancel or move your appointment, please give me at least 48 hours notice to allow me to offer that appointment to someone else. Cancelation or rescheduling of appointments within 48 hrs of the appointment incur the full fee.

being on time for your appointment

Circumstances outside of our control sometimes happen and you might be late for our appointment, I however need to keep on time for appointments after you and will need to finish on time. It is difficult to do some good work if sessions end up being less than half hour.

session to be paid for on the day

I accept credit cards and cash and the fee needs to be paid at the end of the session. I sometimes accept payments by bank transfer as long as they are made at the time of the session or soon after.
