Depending on your life circumstances and the causes of the low mood, with patience and gentleness we can help you regain a sense of self with agency and hope for the future.

Trauma

Relationships

Many people will experience in their life a shocking experience that turns their life upside down and will feel the impact long after the incident(s) have passed. If it is the case for you, it is important to seek help to help your body and mind process and completely digest the fear, powerlessness and confusion of the experience. I have worked as a specialist psychologist with victims of sexual assault and domestic violence and have a deep understanding of those difficult issues.

Relationships are the hardest thing we are ever going to do. We are drawn to them, we are wired to connect, but once in a relationship, with life happening all around us, we can be left feeling alone, frustrated, unheard, or trapped. In therapy, we learn new ways to talk, and listen, to be truly heard and understood by our partner, and to change patterns of interactions that have been ultimately unsatisfying. We cannot change our partners but we can cast ourselves in new roles that be more likely to get us what we need, and to feel more satisfying.
